Food Pantry Needs

We supply our Food Pantry once or twice per month via the NYS Food Bank. Through this amazing resource, we are able to purchase large quantities of food at insanely low costs (and then share them for free!). Though this is a huge blessing to our ministry (which operates on a shoe-string budget), it is not without its limitations. Namely, the supplies that are available for purchase through the Food Bank are of a limited selection. There are many helpful items that we are not typically able to get through this venue (and for which we do not have the funds to purchase commercially).

Here is a list of items that would be very helpful to have donated to our operation:

  • “Meals in a can” – such as Chef Boyardee, stews, hearty soups, etc.)
  • Ketchup & mustard
  • Hot dogs
  • Vegetable oil
  • Flour & baking supplies (baking powder, shortening, etc.)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly & jam
  • Sugar
  • Butter
  • Yogurt
  • Snacks for children
  • Instant oatmeal
  • Canned corn
  • Pickles, olives, peppers
  • BBQ sauce

Any food or financial donations can be brought to our facility any Saturday 9AM-12PM. We are grateful for the help!
